Ohmkat was the perfect fix for a Simplisafe doorbell setup in a house that has never had a doorbell. The Ohmkat allowed me to circumvent that issue and rely on the "bell" in the base station, which works for us. My utility knife slipped when I was getting creative with the old alum w/s and cut the Ohmkat wire pretty badly. My fault. I talked to someone on their site and said, "we'll send you a replacement, no charge." I reiterated that it was my screw up, but he said "we'll take care of it." This is old school customer service. I installed a SimpluSafe video doorbell for my daughter and needed a plug in power supply. This one worked perfectly.

The folks behind this invention provided a product when installed correctly provides a helping hand to many. I ran into one hitch in the instructions. The instructions sidestep around a very important step. To the developer they may not observe the problem. There is no simple and clear step or information regarding having to scan the QR code. The instructions do not lead the reader on a path to the need to scan the QR code. I request the manufacturer revisit their instructions. Update/correct the instructions providing easy to follow and in your face instructions regarding the need to scan the OR code.
The product is great. I thank the developer for inventing this product.

Power inverter worked very good. It was very easy to install perfect for my Simplisafe doorbell camera which my house didn’t have a doorbell in it so I use this to power the doorbell and use the base station as a chime for the doorbell works great I would recommend this product to anyone.

Was using an older ohmkat unit on my doorbell for years, worked great! Dooorbell stopped working so ,like everyone i bought a new ohmkat unit .(it was not the ohmkat that quit) but the new ohmkat was so improved i just used it on my new doorbell.works great just like the old one did but the improved door chime unit was more refined looking and better lighting alerts also great product

Purchased OhmKat basic component set along extra chime and the OhmKat power supply to use with my SimpliSafe system. Had it working within 5-10 min. Works wonderfully! Recommend highly!

Easy to order, goods arrived on time, id ordered an extra Chime receiver which had been linked to other items prior to despatch so setup was quick and easy, all very good

i was very happy with my order because they went beyond exceptions and went ahead and pre programmed my additional chime.

Got the total OhmKat power supply, doorbell transmitter, and wireless doorbell. Installation for the complete system was super easy, just plugged in power supply and connected inline doorbell transmitter to the power supply connection. OhmKat had already paired the wireless doorbell to the transmitter so I didn’t have to worry about it and it was ready to use immediately. I would highly recommend any OhmKat product based on my initial experience.

Love how easy it was to set up once i figured out how to just connect the wires to the plate that covers the doorbell camera instead ofusing the connector simplisafe provided. Tested it a few times and it works wonderfully! Such a breath of relief knowing i can use my whole security system since SimpliSafe does not provide a wireless option, although, i did see a place for a charger, its nice to have a chime in my apartment. I will definitely recommend!
